Amrita Vidyalayam Kozhikode observed World Day Against Child Labour to raise awareness about children's rights and the importance of education. The programme featured an inspiring speech by the Principal, who emphasized the need to eliminate child labour and ensure a better future for all children.

A Collage Making Competition was also conducted, in which students creatively expressed their views on the theme. The event helped promote social awareness and encouraged students to support the cause of a child labour-free society.

The Annual Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and sportsman spirit on 29 August 2025 at Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary School, Thuckalay. The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Smt. Sumathi, P.E.T., Amrita Vidyalayam, Thoothukudi.

The programme began with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, followed by the hoisting of the school flag and an impressive march-past by the students, which reflected discipline, unity, and team spirit.

A Joyful Beginning for Our Pre-KG and LKG Students...

The school campus came alive with excitement, curiosity, and a few tears as we warmly welcomed our Pre-KG and LKG students on their very first day of school.

For many little ones, it was their first experience away from home, making the day a beautiful blend of smiles and cries. While some children eagerly explored their new classrooms, others held on tightly to their parents, making the occasion both emotional and memorable.

The new Academic Year 2026–2027 commenced on 04 June 2026 with great enthusiasm at Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary School, Thuckalay. The campus came alive with the joyful presence of students as they returned to school after the vacation, eager to begin a new year of learning and growth. 

The reopening day assembly at Amrita Vidyalayam, Puthiyakavu, was marked by a proud moment as the School Toppers, Subject Toppers, and Centum Holders of the CBSE Board Examinations 2025–26 were felicitated with Merit Awards by the Principal, Vice Principal, and Academic Supervisor. The ceremony celebrated the school's outstanding Class X and XII board results and recognised the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of the achievers, inspiring all students to strive for excellence in the academic year ahead.

A Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) for the Academic Session 2026–2027 was successfully conducted on 03 June 2026 at Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary School, Thuckalay.

The meeting provided a valuable platform for parents and teachers to interact and discuss the academic progress, learning outcomes, discipline, and overall development of the students. Teachers shared detailed insights into the students’ performance, strengths, and areas requiring improvement, while parents actively participated by sharing their observations, feedback, and concerns.

Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary School, Thuckalay, celebrated World Environment Day on 05 June 2026 with great enthusiasm, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable living. 

The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guests, Dr. Reshmi M. Nair and Dr. Rama Lakshmi. In their inspiring addresses, they highlighted the need to protect nature, adopt eco-friendly practices, and take collective responsibility for preserving the environment for future generations. 

The campus of Amrita Vidyalayam, Palakkad, blossomed with smiles, laughter, and excitement as the little stars of Pre-KG and LKG stepped into their classrooms for the new academic year. The reopening day was a delightful celebration filled with fun, warmth, and cherished traditions, making the children's first day at school truly memorable. 

The academic year 2026–27 commenced on a positive and inspiring note at Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba, on 3rd June 2026, as students from KG to Class XII returned to campus with enthusiasm and anticipation. The students were warmly received with a traditional tilak, symbolising blessings and auspicious beginnings.
