Amrita Vidyalayam observed International Anti-Drug and Illicit Trade Day on June 26th!

In this incredibly fruitful session, Mr. Firoz inspires our young minds to make informed choices and lead a healthy lifestyle.
 

With a deep sense of reverence for nature and a commitment to sustainability, our school celebrated World Environment Day with grandeur and thoughtfulness. The morning began with a serene prayer, invoking the blessings of Mother Earth, followed by an inspiring welcome address that set the tone for the day’s proceedings.

Amrita Vidyalayam Thalassery celebrated its Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025 on 12th June 2025 (Thursday) with great enthusiasm and solemnity. The ceremony marked a significant occasion where the newly elected student council members were officially entrusted with their responsibilities.

The annual Rath Yatra festival, a holy festival of Trinity god was celebrated in our school. the festival was conducted by Ms Paravati Nayak, Ms Puspanjali Das and Mr Ajit Kumar Rana. The ceremony was graced by Bri Rasikamrita Chaitanya.

The students were elated and the atmosphere turned out great in jubliation.

The toppers of this year were felicitated by Sahodaya Schools Complex , Bhubaneswar chapter at a function organised by the member schools.

Our Class X topper Master Tathagat Patnaik, Class XII science stream topper Shrestha Dash and Class XII Commerce topper Simran Khuntia were felicitated on the occasion and all the members wished for their success and bright future.

"Reading is dreaming with open eyes." Amrita Vidyalayam in Pathanamthitta celebrated Reading Week with great enthusiasm, aiming to cultivate a lifelong love for reading and enhance literacy among students. The celebration featured a variety of engaging activities that encouraged creativity and critical thinking. Students took a Reading Day Pledge, participated in a thought-provoking morning assembly speech on the significance of reading, and showcased their talents through book reviews and the Writer's Corner.

Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21st with great enthusiasm, graced by chief guest Santhosh Kumar Sir, Chief Instructor of Black Dragon Martial Arts Academy.

Students (Class 5-12) participated in a yoga session led by Mrs. Leeshma Ma'am, with Abhinanda (Class X A) assisting. They learned various asanas and breathing techniques promoting physical and mental well-being.

In the evening, our dedicated teachers and Principal participated in a yoga session under the expert guidance of our yoga teacher, focusing on wellness and stress management.

Our school received the Golden School Award at both the national and state levels for outstanding participation in the Indian Talent Olympiad (Little Champ Olympiad Exam 2024–25), with more than 150 students from the pre-primary section taking part. Our respected Principal Madam was awarded the Best Principal Award, cash prize and a watch. The Best Teacher Award was given to Varsha Charhate and Shweta Dixit, while the Inspiring Teacher Award was shared by Mughda Kodolikar, Lincy Shibu, and Vinodini Shinde. A special mention goes to Atharv Gadge from Std.

On June 26, 2025, Amrita Vidyalaya Edapally commemorated the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking with the theme "Say No to Drugs". As part of the celebrations, two competitions were conducted: poster making and slogan writing. These competitions were held in two categories: Category 1 for classes VI to VIII and Category 2 for classes IX to XII. Several students participated in the competitions, showcasing their creativity and awareness about the issue.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025 was held on 23rd June 2025 at Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba, with great solemnity. The event was inaugurated by Sub Inspector of Police, Shri Saseendran from the ASP Office, Thalassery, along with SI Akhil Raj from Kuthuparamba Police Station. The ceremony began with a welcome speech by Haritha Mam, followed by the formal introduction of the newly elected Student Council members.
