Our students had an informative session about cancer, a life-altering disease affecting many. They learned about healthy habits and lifestyle choices that can help prevent and manage the disease. An engaging Q&A session helped clarify their doubts. The children also made a heartfelt promise to show compassion and kindness towards those affected by cancer.

National Cancer Awareness Day is observed in India on November 7th every year to raise awareness about cancer prevention, early detection and treatment.  On the day several activities were organised at our school, an awareness class was conducted by the senior students of the school to the children of standard V to IX. A house wise poster making competition was conducted for class VIII students and they made beautiful posters. 5th grade students displayed cancer awareness information on bulletin board.

World radiography day, celebrated annually on November 8, marks the anniversary of discovery of X- rays by German physicist Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen in 1895. A presentation was done by Parameshwar Suresh of class XI. The presentation highlights the vital role of that radiology plays in modern medicine, providing essential insights for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of health conditions.

To commemorate Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's birth anniversary, the following program was held:

   * A quiz competition for students of VI A and VI B.

   * A speech by Madhav. S from VI A.

   * A 5-minute documentary film on Subhas Chandra Bose.

   * The singing of the National Anthem.

   * The playing of the patriotic song 'Qadam Qadam Badhaaye Ja' while students were dismissed

Our school celebrated National Youth Day with great enthusiasm on January 13. The program commenced with an insightful speech highlighting the significance of Youth Day. Additionally, a role-play of Swami Vivekananda's life was presented, showcasing his ideals and values. Students from Grade 7 enacted a skit depicting a pivotal incident in Swami Vivekananda's life. The program also featured stills portraying influential characters, including Sreeramaparamahamsa and Saradadevi.

The annual sports day at our school was conducted on January  10 th, 2025 ,in our new playground. The day was inaugurated by our Principal. Students participated in various sports like running, jumping, and relays.   It was a day of fun, teamwork, and celebration. Overall, the sports day strengthened our school spirit and encouraged us to stay active and healthy

A webinar on the "International Day Against Violence and Bullying at School (including Cyber bullying) by CBSE on November 7, 2024, under the theme “Protect, Educate, Empower: Learners Call for Safe and Inclusive Schools.”The theme emphasises the vital importance of education and urges school leaders to honour their commitments and promises to create safe and inclusive environments from the perspectives of students.The program was live-streamed on the YouTube channel of the Training Unit, CBSE.

November 7th is recognised as National Tooth Brushing Day. Children's dental cleanings are a crucial aspect of their dental care and overall health. The observance of Teeth Cleaning Day was held at our school on November 7, 2024, organized by the doctors of the Indian Dental Association, Pathanamthitta District. A demonstration was conducted, and two students were selected to showcase the correct brushing techniques to their peers. Following the session, toothpaste and toothbrushes were distributed to the students.

Our school commemorated Gandhi Jayanti with a series of engaging activities, fostering a spirit of community service and environmental consciousness.

_Key Events:_

1. _Inspiring Speech_: Adi Sankar (12th standard) delivered a thought-provoking speech during the assembly.

2. _Cleanliness Drive_: On October 1st, our 11th and 12th standard students spearheaded a cleanliness initiative at the Brahmastana Temple premises and adjacent road. They removed waste, sorted and deposited it properly, and created a "SELFIE POINT" by clearing weeds and dry leaves.

World Food Day was observed globally on October 16th, emphasizing the "Right to Food for a Better Life." Our school commemorated this significant day with an engaging activity, fostering awareness about healthy and nutritious food.

The 6th standard students enthusiastically participated in the event, bringing traditional, healthy, and nutritious food items. Under the guidance of Mrs. Remya Sandeep from the Science Department, the students displayed their culinary creations in the biology lab.
