Drugs are harmful substances that destroy not only our health but also our dreams, families, and society. They promise false happiness and temporary relief, but in reality, they trap people in a dangerous cycle of addiction and suffering. International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking observed every year on June 26. Established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1987.
Our school organized a crucial awareness program on drug abuse and illicit trafficking in collaboration with legal authorities. Retired SI Binduraj sir delivered an informative session to students of classes X, XI, and XII.
The session highlighted the dangers of substance abuse, its consequences, and the importance of making informed choices. Students actively participated in the discussion, gaining valuable insights.
Slogan Writing Activity:
Students from classes VI to X showcased their creativity through a slogan-writing activity on sticky notes. The slogans emphasized the importance of staying away from drugs and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
The program successfully raised awareness about the risks associated with drug abuse, empowering students to make positive choices and prioritize their well-being.
