International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking observed every year on June 26. Established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1987.

As part of our cultural enrichment initiatives, Amrita Vidyalayam Pathanamthitta celebrated Ramayana Day with great devotion and enthusiasm. The event aimed to introduce students to the timeless values and teachings of the epic Ramayana, fostering moral education and cultural awareness.

We celebrated the start of Ramayana month with great fervor. Our KG to 2nd-grade students dressed up as Ramayanam characters, watched videos, and Ramayana Parayanam was included during the Prayer Session, fostering a deeper connection with its rich heritage. A vibrant procession was conducted within the school premises to celebrate Ramayana Day. As part of the festivities, students joyfully sang the sacred "Rama mantra" while marching in the procession.

The school observed Ramayana Day on July 17th with great devotion. Ms. Bindu recited passages from the Ramayana, while Mrs. Beena V. Nair spoke about Lord Rama's noble qualities and virtues. A quiz based on the epic was also conducted.

In today's materialistic world, it's crucial for children to learn from exemplary figures like Sita and Rama, who selflessly prioritized others' well-being over their own.

Amrita Kala Siri 2025 unfolded as a vibrant celebration of talent and imagination at Amrita Vidyalayam, Bengaluru. Students from Grades 1 to 10 participated enthusiastically in a wide array of inter-class competitions, each event highlighting the artistic, intellectual, and expressive strengths of our young learners. 

The day brimmed with colour, energy, and originality—right from the imaginative storytelling and colouring activities in the lower grades to the thought-provoking skits and digital presentations by our senior students.

Mother’s Day was celebrated with joy and gratitude on 12th July 2025 at our school. Mothers of our nursery students were warmly invited to be part of this special occasion. 

Exciting competitions like vegetable carving, Ikebana (flower arrangement), and the fun-filled “Identify Your Kid” game brought delight and enthusiasm. The cheerful participation of mothers added warmth to the celebration. 

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, creating lasting memories filled with love, laughter, and appreciation for the irreplaceable role of mothers.
