The auspicious occasion of Guru Poornima was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm in our school on 8 th july 2025.
The event served as a beautiful expression of gratitude and reverence towards our parents and teachers, who guide us like true Gurus in our lives.
The celebration was graced by the presence of Swami Amoghamrita Chaitanya, Swamiji is an electronics engineer by qualification and has been serving in various branches of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math since 1991. He is currently the in-charge of the Irinjalakuda Amritanandamayi Math.
The highlights of the celebration was the Matru and Pitru Pooja, A Unique and heart-touching ceremony where students performed. Pada pooja for their parents as a mark of respect and gratitude. The emotional and spiritual atmosphere deeply moved everyone present.
Swamiji addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of surrender, humility, and the role of the Guru in our lives.He encouraged students to respect their parents and teachers and follow the values taught to them.
The event concluded with prayers, bhajans and distribution of prasad. It was a memorable celebration that helped instill in students a deep sense of gratitude, respect, and spiritual awareness.
