Pi Approximation Day was observed at Amrita Vidyalayam Changanassery on July 22, the date that represents the approximate value of Pi (22/7). Teachers explained the importance of Pi in mathematics and how it is used to measure circles and curves. To make the day more engaging, students did chart work house-wise, showcasing creative presentations on the value, uses, and interesting facts about Pi. Fun activities like drawing circles, measuring diameters, and finding the ratio between circumference and diameter were also conducted, making the learning process interactive and enjoyable. Adding to the excitement, our students participated in Pi Palooza, a quiz, photography, and puzzle-solving event conducted by S.B. College, Changanassery, and won prizes, bringing pride to the school.
