The sacred occasion of Guru Poornima was observed with deep devotion at Amrita Vidyalayam, Changanassery on 12th July 2025. The programme was blessed by the presence of Swamini Sreecharanamritapriya and Swamini Suvidyamrita Prana, who graced the event as chief guests.
The celebration began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by devotional bhajans rendered by the Bhajan group from the Ashram, which created a serene and spiritual atmosphere.
A special pooja was performed for the parents, honouring them as the first Gurus in a child’s life. This pooja was led by our beloved Principal, Bri. Viswapriyamrita Chaitanya, whose guidance and presence made the occasion even more meaningful.
Both Swaminis addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of Guru Poornima, the invaluable role of a Guru in one’s life, and the importance of surrender, humility, and devotion on the spiritual path.
The event concluded with Guru Stotram chanting and the distribution of prasadam to all. The celebration left everyone with a heart full of gratitude and a renewed sense of reverence towards the Guru and the eternal values they uphold.
