We are proud to announce that R. Nehasree (Class I-C) and L. Hariharan ( Class V-B) of Amrita Vidyalayam Nagapattinam, have won Gold medals in the National Level Pencak Silat Championship Held in Srinagar from November 16th to 18th, 2024. 

The Amrita Premier League (APL) Cricket Tournament at our school is one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year. This thrilling competition brings together talented young cricketers from various schools, offering them the chance to showcase their skills in batting, bowling, and fielding. The tournament is designed to promote teamwork, strategic thinking, and the spirit of healthy competition among students.

The Investiture Ceremony at our school is a momentous occasion where leadership and responsibility are entrusted to the newly appointed student leaders. The event marks the formal induction of the school’s head boy, head girl, sports captains, house captains, and other student council members. The ceremony symbolizes the trust placed in these students to uphold the values and traditions of the school and to serve as role models for their peers.

Our school celebrated the sacred occasion of Varalakshmi Pooja with immense devotion and joy over the course of nine days. The celebration was marked by rituals and prayers dedicated to Goddess Varalakshmi, seeking her blessings for prosperity, wealth, and well-being. Each day, students and teachers participated with great enthusiasm, decorating the pooja area with flowers and lighting lamps to honor the goddess.

This year, Vijayadasami was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm at our school. The occasion marked the day of auspicious beginnings as many new students joined our family. The celebrations began with a traditional puja, seeking blessings for wisdom and success in learning. Teachers and parents gathered to welcome the new students, symbolizing a fresh start for their educational journey. The spirit of Vijayadasami, emphasizing the triumph of knowledge and goodness, resonated throughout the day.

MSSC recently organized a zonal-level Kho Kho Tournament at Velammal Residential School, Ladanenthal. We are pleased to announce that our school’s team in the Under-17 category secured the Runner-Up position, with 11 of our talented students contributing to this remarkable achievement.

Our school recently organized the Amrita Pradarshanam, where students showcased their innovative exhibits, demonstrating their creativity and hard work. The exhibition featured a wide range of projects that highlighted the students' skills in various fields.

The event was a great success, with students gaining confidence and inspiration to explore new ideas and develop their talents further.

The event saw an impressive performance by the children of classes III and IV, who showcased their Umbrella Drill and Band Display, adding a touch of creativity and coordination to the day.The prizes for the winners were graciously distributed by Bri. Lakshmi Amma, with the Chief Guest Smt. S. Umadevi, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rameswaram, officiating the ceremony.It was an enjoyable and memorable day for all, filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and school spirit!

Our school recently had the honor of welcoming 14 women bike riders from higher cadres in Postal Services, representing various states, to celebrate the timeless art of letter writing. The event was held at  Amrita Vidyalayam-Rameswaram, where students from classes IV to XI actively participated by writing letters as part of a competition.
