The Kindergarten students were thrilled to celebrate Chocolate Day at school, a treat they eagerly anticipated. The children brought an assortment of chocolates to share with their friends, spreading joy and excitement throughout the day. The teachers complemented the celebration with engaging videos, making it a delightful experience for the young learners.

Doctor’s Day was celebrated with heartfelt gratitude at Amritavidyalayam Thalassery on 1st July 2025. The event was graced by our esteemed alumnus Dr. Gokul Mohanraj (MBBS), who was invited as the chief guest of the day.

Statistics Day was celebrated at Amritavidyalayam Thalassery on June 29, 2025, to honour Prof. P.C. Mahalanobis. A special assembly speech highlighted his contributions to Indian statistics. Students also participated in a poster-making activity on the theme “Statistics for a Better Tomorrow"showcasing the role of data in everyday life.

On 30th June 2025, Amritavidyalayam Thalassery organized a Rabies Awareness Class led by Smt. Ashalethika G, Junior Public Health Nurse from PHC Kodiyeri.

The session focused on the causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment of rabies, especially in the case of dog bites. Students were taught how to respond immediately after a bite, the importance of vaccination, and general safety tips to avoid such incidents.

Today, our little stars celebrated Chocolate Day with great enthusiasm, embracing the theme color brown. Our talented teachers prepared a delicious chocolate dish, and the children thoroughly enjoyed a range of fun-filled activities.

Environment Day was observed with great spirit and purpose at Amrita Vidyalayam, highlighting the vital need for conserving nature. In a symbolic gesture of hope and renewal, Principal Ma gifted saplings to students celebrating their birthdays, encouraging them to grow along with the plants they nurture. Students of Class XII took the lead in planting saplings in the school yard reinforcing their role as guardians of the environment.

In a heartfelt moment of pride and togetherness, the morning assembly at Amrita Vidyalayam witnessed the warm felicitation of our beloved Principal, Swamini Sreecharanamrita Prana, who was recently honoured with the EGN Outstanding Leadership Award at the EGN India Education Leadership Summit held on 28 June 2025 at Le Meridien, Kochi. As a mark of reverence, the school prefect presented the traditional ponnada, and the award was symbolically presented once again by Academic Superior Anitha Ma in front of the entire school community.

Organised by EGN India, the summit celebrated visionary leadership and innovation in the education sector.

With Amma’s grace guiding every moment, Amrita Vidyalayam, Puthiyakavu, reopened its doors to a new academic year filled with hope and energy. The day began with prayer and lamp lighting, symbolising the light of knowledge and compassion. A heartfelt welcome by Principal Ma set the tone, followed by the proud felicitation of our CBSE X and XII toppers and Scinquest winners. Class shuffling marked fresh beginnings, and moments of meditation and chanting helped centre the spirit.
