In celebration of International Paper Bag Day, students of Grade (6-9)showcased their creativity bydesigning unique paper bags made from waste materials, turning discarded items intosustainable solutions. The competition highlighted the importance of reusing and recycling,with each paper bag reflecting the students' innovative approach to eco-friendly living.

Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated â€śBal Vihar Diwas” - Kindergarten Graduation Day on 21st March, 2025. Tiny tots dressed up in nice attires and performed different activities like music, dance and skit, which was appreciated by all gathered. The most important part of the day- Graduation Ceremony started with the smart tiny tots of pre- primary dressed in graduation robes and caps walking the stage.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Karur Celebrated our First Annual day on 12th April 2025 in our School ground. Our Annual day was the “Crowning Glory” of all the events of the year. Students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5 participated in the annual day programmes. The Kindergarten blossoms amazed us by their sizzling performance, followed by the higher grade students who gave a spectacular performance, remarkably appreciated by one and all. It was really a bench mark for us!!

Our School organized Children’s Chess Carnival at the school Amriteswaryai Hall on Thursday, January 30, 2025. The inaugural ceremony began with a prayer song invoking Amma’s blessings for the success of the tournament. The Chief referee of the event, Smt. Revathi Secretary, Vinayaka Chess Academy, Karur presented the rules and guidelines of the tournament, kick-starting the matches.

A Fire Safety Awareness Programme on 04.07.2024 was conducted by the Fire and Rescue ServicesDepartment, Thanjavur, to educate students on emergency response and safety measures.The interactive session empowered young minds with practical knowledge on fireprevention, evacuation drills, and the importance of staying alert.

On June 21, 2024, we celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students of Grades 3 to 7. The event began with a brief introduction to the importance of yoga in daily life, followed by a guided session where students and teachers performed various yoga asanas together. The atmosphere was vibrant and focused, as everyone came together to embrace the spirit of health, mindfulness, and inner well-being.
