Onam commemorates the legacy of a life of equality, unity and prosperity. The festival of Onam is dedicated to the King Mahabali, who sacrificed himself along with his kingdom in order to stand true to his words.  On 13th September, the celebrations started with the setting up of an attractive floral decoration (pookalam) in the prayer room. The character presentation of the arrival of Mahabali along with Vamana was well-received by the staff and the children.

A teacher is a light that never goes out. Teachers’ Day is celebrated in India on the 5th of September every year. It is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

Our school celebrated Guru Poornima as Sanskriti Pooja  with deep devotion and cultural richness, honoring the timeless values of respect, gratitude, and reverence towards one’s teachers and parents. Swamini Bhavyamrita Pranaji, In-Charge of Mata Amritanandamayi Math Thiruvalla blessed the occasion and led the Sanskriti pooja.

The K.G. classes at Amrita Vidyalayam Pulpally celebrated Pink Day on October 21, 2025, with great enthusiasm and excitement. The little ones came dressed in charming pink dresses, embracing the theme of the day with joy.

To mark the occasion, a variety of games and activities were organized, keeping the children engaged and entertained while promoting fun learning. The event was a colorful display of creativity, teamwork, and happiness as the young students participated in the activities with laughter and energy.

World Oceans Day was brilliantly celebrated on June 11th in a splendid way in the school. Students prepared various placards related to Ocean Animals and they were presented in the assembly as well as through the stairs which resulted as an exhibiting presentation for the students who returned from the assembly.

Krishna Janmashtami is a joyful festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, who is believed to be the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Krishna was born on the eighth day (Ashtami) of Krishna Paksha during the Rohini Nakshatra. Krishna Janmashtami is a celebration of life, love, and devotion. 

With an objective to reinforce the effects of yellow colour, Pre-KG Wing and KG Section children celebrated 'Popcorn Day' on September 6, 2024. Cooking helps young kids to learn quality of health in the long run and short run. It was a fun filled day for the kids, as they enjoyed as well as learnt how to make popcorn. All the kids and their respective teachers wore yellow-coloured dresses. A short film based on popcorn was shown.

Amritotsav 2k25 was exactly the biggest celebration in our school that we have ever imagined and worked upon. Students were too energetic and active even during the practice and all duties. The presence of famous and honorable celebrities made the event more superb. Dances, Songs, Drama, Skits and all those added to the beauty. 

Sports day is an important day which helps every student to indulge in physical activities and sports. Amrita Annual Sports meet was held at EMS Stadium, Kodumon on 7th September 2024. Our School celebrated Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm. Students of classes VI to XII participated in various events such as 4 x 100 m relay, 4 x 400 m relay, long jump, triple jump, shot-put, discus throw and 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m & 1500 m running races. All the students thoroughly enjoyed the day and participated in the items with a lot of happiness.

It’s the day to focus on the scientific skills and techniques through scientific projects, models and experiments. Demonstrating their creativity and scientific temperament will always result in getting a better fortune for them. The students of our school were well able to make the day even more fruitful in many ways. The exhibition was held department wise and the winners were awarded with trophies and certificates.
