Amrita Vidyalayam, Manjeri, organized exciting sports events for students of various age groups. On October 9th, a fun-filled day of sports was held for the tiny tots, while the students of classes 1 to 10 participated in an engaging sports meet on October 25th.

The event featured a variety of competitive and entertaining activities, including Musical Chair, Lemon and Spoon Race, Ball Picking, Running Race, and other sports items for tiny tots.

KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS On Kargil Day, 26 July 2024

we were honored to welcome Assistant Commander Sri Naveen Kumar Yadav Sir from the Border Security Force (BSF) as our esteemed guest. His presence was truly a privilege. During his address, he shared inspiring insights into the vital role the BSF plays in safeguarding our nation from external threats. He spoke passionately about the dedication and patriotism that drive their efforts to protect our country. It was an enlightening and moving experience for all of us, making kargil Day especially memorable.

On 19th of June, Amrita Vidyalayam, Pulpally conducted a quiz competition based on Literature & Literary Figures and a session on ‘Interviewing the Writer’. Mr. Satheeshan, the writer, was our chief guest. Students asked a lot of questions and he answered in a simple way.

Pest Day was observed with enthusiasm and curiosity as students explored the fascinating world of insects, bugs, and the importance of pest control in maintaining a healthy environment. The day was designed to raise awareness about common pests, their impact on health and agriculture, and eco-friendly ways to manage them. This year we have organized a field visit to a nearby plantain farm and interacted with Sri. Manoj, a renowned award-winning  farmer that helped students understand the difference between harmful pests and helpful insects.

Children's Day is celebrated in India to raise awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. It is celebrated on 14 November every year on the birthday of the first prime minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known to have been fond of children. We focused the celebration towards the lower classes and it was well made.
