We are delighted to share a brief report on the successful celebration of Umbrella Day and Pink Day, held today at our Kindergarten section involving Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG students.

The main goal of this celebration was to create a fun and colorful environment for our young learners while helping them understand the importance of everyday objects like umbrellas and the significance of colors, particularly the color Pink. It also aimed to boost their self-expression, creativity, and confidence through active participation.

The Highlights of the Day were that all the children came dressed in bright, colorful clothes, with many showcasing beautiful shades of pink. The color added vibrance to the day and helped set the mood for celebration. Umbrella Dance: Children joyfully participated in dancing with real umbrellas, showcasing movement, rhythm, and coordination.Importance of Umbrellas: Teachers explained how umbrellas protect us from rain and sun, with simple demonstrations suitable for young minds. Rhymes and Songs: Children sang popular rhymes related to umbrellas and rain, such as “Rainy Rainy Day, IT'S A RAINY RAINY DAY,” adding a musical charm to the event.

In Indoor Activities, students were encouraged to Speech and recite Rhymes. Some children prepared small speeches and rhymes about umbrellas and the color pink, showing confidence and enthusiasm. Craft Activity also conducted for Pre-KG students was given small paper umbrellas to decorate and take home. It was a joyful and engaging art activity.

Learning Outcomes from umberalla Day Celebration. Cognitive Development: Children learned about the utility of umbrellas and the color pink, enhancing their general knowledge. Language Development is also made through rhymes, speeches, and songs. Students develop vocabulary and pronunciation skills. Social interaction made by participating in group activities helped build teamwork, cooperation, and friendship. Creativity & Motor Skills developed by Craft and dancing activities allowed children to express themselves and develop fine motor skills. Emotional Development was made by celebrating colors and objects around them increased their sense of curiosity, joy, and appreciation for everyday items.
