As a part of the Amrita family, we aim to instil in our students a strong sense of our cultural and spiritual values, while imparting the best in modern scientific education.

Our vidyalayam shall always provide a rich learning environment where students can excel fearlessly in all facets of their personality – physical, mental, intellectual and aesthetic. This foundation will enable self-fulfilment of their professional, personal, family and social lives.

While maintaining the traditional values of the Guru-Shishya Parampara, we have created a path-breaking paradigm in school education. We aim to meet the needs, hopes and dreams of the children of the 21st century, by harnessing to the greatest extent possible, all that present day cutting edge educational and information technologies have to offer.

The Amritam club in our school provides a vibrant platform for students to put into action the values and principles taught by Amma. The club's charitable endeavors are funded by birthday donations from children, which are thoughtfully directed towards those in need. The club's inauguration was graced by Smt. Anjana, a distinguished Executive Engineer from the irrigation department, who appointed two dedicated student leaders - a President and Secretary - to spearhead various service projects aimed at benefiting the underprivileged and needy members of our community. Twenty students from classes VI to VIII formed the core group of the club, who were honoured with sashes by the guest. Two teacher coordinators, Mrs. Shruti and Mrs. Divya, were entrusted with the responsibility of guiding the club's activities.

In a world where self-interest often prevails, the Amritam Club at our school fosters empathy and kindness in our students. Through various activities, our children develop a sense of social responsibility, collecting provisions and clothing for those in need.

Our 9th-grade students visited ABHAYAM, a care home for destitute elderly women. The heartwarming interactions brought joy to both the children and the inmates. As our students experienced the delight of giving back, they discovered a newfound sense of purpose.

By nurturing compassion, we empower our children to stand apart from the ordinary and become exceptional human beings.

Our children also visited a foster home for young boys at Kavanadu, Kollam, demonstrating their commitment to social responsibility.

During their visit, our children donated essential items like study materials, provisions, new clothes, spent quality time with the residents and learned valuable lessons about empathy, kindness, and sharing.

This outreach initiative reinforced our school's values of compassion, generosity, and community service.
