The students of Amrita Vidyalayam, Kozhikode commemorated the birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, on 23rd January 2025 in the school’s Prayer Hall. The event was organized to instil patriotism and highlight the enduring legacy of Netaji among the students. 

The programme began with an inspiring speech that reflected on Netaji’s immense contributions to India’s struggle for independence. The speaker emphasized his indomitable spirit and the pivotal role he played in the formation of the Indian National Army. The speech left the audience motivated and filled with a sense of pride for the sacrifices made by freedom fighters. 

Students enthusiastically shared some of Netaji’s iconic quotes, which resonated with his courage and dedication to the nation. These quotes served as a source of inspiration, reminding everyone of the values of bravery, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to one’s country. 

A highlight of the event was the screening of a video showcasing the life and achievements of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The video provided a detailed account of his early life, leadership in the Indian National Army, and his vision for a free and united India. The students watched attentively, gaining a deeper understanding of his revolutionary ideas and relentless efforts for India's liberation. 

The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to one of India’s greatest leaders and served as a reminder of the values of bravery, determination, and patriotism that Netaji stood for. The event concluded with a collective pledge by the students to uphold these values and contribute positively to the nation.
