- As part of the Gita Jayanti celebrations at Amritapuri Ashram, Kollam, Kerala, on December 11, 2024, a special Gita painting event was held, bringing together artists to visually interpret the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita. Each painting was a creative expression of Lord Krishna’s teachings, capturing the essence of its profound messages through various artistic styles, including traditional, modern, and abstract forms.
The event served as a vibrant platform for creativity and devotion, allowing artists to present their unique perspectives on selected shlokas from the Bhagavad Gita. The highlight of the event was Amma’s presence, where she personally met each artist, blessing both them and their artwork. Her words of joy and admiration created a deeply spiritual and inspiring atmosphere, reinforcing the connection between art and devotion.
