Amrita Vidyalayam, Pune, is a higher secondary school situated behind Nigdi bus stop in Yamuna Nagar, Pune. This Amrita Vidyalayam is administered by Mata Amritanandamayi Math, and is affiliated to the STATE BOARD.

On the occasion of Savitribai Phule’s birth anniversary, the students of standards 4th and 8th came together to present a skit celebrating her remarkable life and contributions. A total of 12 students participated in this performance, which shed light on the significant milestones of Savitribai Phule‘s journey as a pioneering social reformer and advocate for women’s education. Through their acting, the students beautifully depicted her resilience, courage, and dedication to the empowerment of society.
The skit concluded with heartfelt quotes that paid tribute to Savitribai Phule’s enduring legacy. Lines like “आम्ही सावित्रीच्या लेकी, घेऊ उंच भरारी” inspired everyone to embrace her vision and continue her mission of spreading knowledge and equality. The performance was a fitting homage to a woman who changed the course of history, leaving a deep impression on all present.
