Amrita Vidyalayam, Tiruppur, takes immense pride in celebrating the remarkable achievements of Dhanwanth S, a Class 6 student, who has emerged as a rising star in the world of skating. Competing at the RSFI State Selection Speed Skating Championship 2024-25, organized by the VRSC International Roller Skating Academy, Palladam, Dhanwanth showcased extraordinary skill and determination to secure top honors in two fiercely contested events.

Achievements at the Championship:

2nd Place in the 200m Skating Competition

Date: October 18, 2024

Participants: 50 skaters

Format: The competition consisted of four heats, with the top 8 athletes advancing to the final round. Dhanwanth demonstrated his exceptional speed and precision, claiming the 2nd position in the Under-12 category.

3rd Place in the 1000m Skating Competition

Date: October 19, 2024

Participants: 100 skaters

Format: A thrilling single-ground race where all skaters competed simultaneously. Dhanwanth displayed incredible stamina and skill, finishing 3rd in the Under-12 category.

These stellar performances made him the State-Level Skating Champion and bringing immense pride to his school and family.
