"Brushing Values, Colouring Wisdom - Expressions of the Gita"

The Gita painting event was held as part of the Gita Jayanti celebrations at Amritapuri Ashram in Kollam, Kerala on 11th December 2024. The paintings are a visual representation of the teachings of Lord Krishna from the Bhagavad Gita. Artists created traditional, modern, and abstract paintings based on shlokas from the Bhagavad Gita. Artists used varieties of styles to offer their unique interpretation. The event was a vibrant platform for creativity and devotion. Amma graced the artists, expressing joy and admiration for their creations. Meeting each artist individually, Amma blessed both them and their paintings, creating a moment of profound connection between spirituality and creative expression. Our students Anantha Krishnan V S (IX), Adithyan S Nair (IX), Dayanand Parameswar (VIII), Gouri P Nair (VIII), Ganesh G (VII), Nirmal Siva Krishna (VII), Daksha R B (VI), Adrija Krishna (VI), and Lakshmi P (VI) and the visual illustration of Purushothamayogam by the drawing instructor of our school, Mr. Premdas, participated in the event.
