Amrita Vidyalayam, Pune, is a higher secondary school situated behind Nigdi bus stop in Yamuna Nagar, Pune.  This Amrita Vidyalayam is administered by Mata Amritanandamayi Math, and is affiliated to the STATE BOARD.

 The Music Competition for the academic year 2024-2025 was held with great enthusiasm at our school. The competition took place on the 14th of February, with students from grades I to VIII showcasing their musical talents. A total of 180 students participated in the event, making it a grand success. After a rigorous selection process, 42 students were shortlisted for the second round, which was conducted on the 21st of February. From these, 21 students advanced to the final round on the 25th of February. The competition was judged by esteemed experts, including Mr. Gopalkrishnan Nair Sir, Mr. Nilesh Kute Sir, Mrs. Ashwini Barve (a singer), and Mrs. Aarti Ganpule (a tabla player). Their valuable insights and expertise ensured a fair and encouraging evaluation of the participants. 

The winners of the competition were recognized for their outstanding performances. In the primary section, Chinmaye Desai (Std - III) won the first prize, while Shravani Davange (Std -IV) secured the second prize. In the secondary section, Mudra Mane (Std - V) won first place, Siddhi Kakade (Std -VI) came second, and Madhura Bhalerao (Std - VI) along with Anwesha Amin (Std - VIII) secured third place. Harshita Patil (Std- VI) and Atharva Gadge (Std - V) received consolation prizes. The prize distribution ceremony was held during the school assembly, where our respected Principal felicitated the winners with certificates and awards. The event not only celebrated musical talent but also encouraged students to pursue their passion with dedication and confidence.
