On the auspicious occasion of Guru Poornima, a day dedicated to honouring and expressing gratitude to our Gurus, Amrita Vidyalayam, Mangaluru celebrated the Guru Vandana Samarop with great devotion and reverence in the Amriteshwari Hall.

The programme commenced with the soulful school prayer and bhajans led by Abhishek Sir, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere across the hall.

A special highlight of the event was the Guru Paduka Pooja, a sacred ritual performed at the lotus feet of Beloved Amma. Mrs. Rashmi was blessed with the divine opportunity to perform the pooja under the guidance of Mrs. Mridula, evoking deep feelings of devotion and gratitude.

Under the able guidance of Ms. Yogitha, the students of Grade 10 took part wholeheartedly in the Guru Vandana programme. This unique and cherished tradition of Amrita Vidyalayam saw the students honour their beloved teachers and staff members, expressing heartfelt appreciation for their unwavering dedication, guidance, and support. Ms. Yogitha also enlightened the students on the vital role of a Guru in shaping lives — transforming even the humblest individuals into enlightened and successful beings.

To mark the day, various competitions were organised for students, fostering a spirit of celebration and reflection.

The event concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra by the students, offering prayers for peace and universal well-being.
