On August 15, 2024, Amrita Vidyalayam Ottapalam celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The festivities began with a flag-hoisting ceremony conducted by the chief guest, Jayaraman Sir, accompanied by a band playing the national anthem.

Students from the four house categories—Amritamayi, Anandamayi, Chinmayi, and Jyothirmayi—participated in a disciplined and unified march past. Adinath Vinod (Class XI Science) delivered a speech highlighting the significance of Independence Day.

The celebration continued with various cultural performances, including patriotic songs, dances, and a fancy-dress show, showcasing the students’ creativity and spirit.
