Guests of Honour: Mr. Nissar Koolath & Ms. Shyni – Preventive Officers

Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba, observed Drug Abuse Day on 26th June 2025 with a strong message awareness and responsibility. The event began with a warm welcome and was followed by an enlightening address by the esteemed guests of honour, Mr. Nissar Koolath and Ms. Shyni, both serving as preventive officers. Their powerful words shed light on the alarming impact of drug abuse among youth and emphasized the need for collective staged action in promoting a healthy, drug-free society. Ms. Shyni further led the students in a solemn oath, affirming their commitment to stay away from harmful substances and embrace a life of purpose and positivity.

To reinforce the message, the students of Class 8 a compelling skit that effectively portrayed the causes, consequences, and preventive measures of drug abuse. The performance deeply moved the audience and inspired thoughtful reflection. Additionally, students curated a special bulletin board display featuring creative posters, thought-provoking slogans, and informative articles, further spreading the message of awareness. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, leaving every attendee motivated to become advocates for a drug-free environment and responsible citizens of tomorrow.
