"Working together towards a poverty -free world”
As part of observing Poverty Eradication Day, Amrita Vidyalayam Pathanamthitta arranged a visit to a foster home on 19th October 2024. The students of classes I and II were taken to Sabari Balika Sadanam,Konni. We had collected some food items to give the children there. It was a rare experience for our children to meet the inmates of the home. They spent an hour with the inmates singing and dancing. As a token of our love we handed over the food packets to the manager. The students were really enthusiastic during the visit. It was really an enriching experience for them. It helped them to develop their emotional intelligence, empathy and social awareness.
