On November 9th, Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with immense pride and patriotism. The event was graced by Dr. Vivek NC, Principal of Amrita PU College, along with the Principal and Vice Principal of Amrita Vidyalayam. The program commenced with a floral offering to the lotus feet of our beloved Amma, symbolizing reverence and devotion.
Students from Nursery to Grade 9, along with PU college students, showcased a vibrant array of performances honouring Karnataka’s rich culture. The tiny tots gave a captivating performance, enacting the roles of Jnanpith awardees, performing dances with moral themes, and a skit illustrating unity during challenging times. Older students presented thematic dances that highlighted the diverse art styles and religious ethnicities of Karnataka. Additionally, PU students delivered self-composed poems and speeches, expressing their deep love and pride for the state.
The entire atmosphere resonated with a profound sense of state pride and cultural appreciation, as students celebrated Karnataka’s heritage with heartfelt enthusiasm.
