Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba, celebrated the Karkidaka Food Fest with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit. Students from Class 1 to Class 12 actively participated by bringing a variety of traditional dishes typically prepared during the Karkidaka month. These dishes, known for their health benefits and seasonal relevance, were displayed and shared among classmates, making the event both enjoyable and educational.

Each class teacher guided the students in selecting and preparing the dishes. On the day of the fest, teachers also explained the significance of Karkidaka month and the importance of consuming immunity-boosting and nourishing foods during this season. The event offered students a meaningful opportunity to connect with Kerala’s rich food heritage while promoting healthy eating practices and collective involvement.
