Kathakali, an iconic symbol of Kerala's cultural heritage, is one of the most vibrant and expressive dance forms. With its colourful costumes, intricate masks, and captivating storytelling, it brings ancient tales to life through mesmerizing performances.
The 17th Kathakali Mela, organized by the Pathanamthitta District Kathakali Club in Ayrur Kathakali Gramam, took place from January 6 to January 12. On January 8, 2025, our students participated in various Kathakali-themed activities, including competitions, quizzes, and insightful speeches.
This event provided students with a unique opportunity to delve into the rich history of Kathakali plays, offering them a deeper appreciation of this ancient art form that has been preserved for generations.
