Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba, celebrated Pi Day  with energetic participation and keen interest, by the students of Class 8A. The event aimed to deepen students’ understanding of the mathematical constant π (Pi) and stimulate curiosity in mathematical reasoning. The celebration commenced with a welcome speech by Sriya Sinob of Class 8A, who emphasized the importance and real-life applications of Pi, setting a thoughtful tone for the day’s activities.

A hands-on activity followed, where students measured the circumference and diameter of various circular objects to calculate the approximate value of Pi. This was followed by a fun challenge to recall the value of Pi to as many decimal places as possible. These engaging exercises made the concept of Pi more relatable and enjoyable. The Pi Day celebration was a great success, enhancing students' interest in mathematics through practical learning and turning the event into a memorable educational experience.
