From the first day of Karkidakam we had started with Ramayana month celebrations. This year, the Ramayana Masam begins on July 16 and ends on August 16.
Every day, students read and explained relevant portions of the Ramayana at school in the morning. Videos of students reading and explaining the Ramayana were shared in all class groups. At the beginning of the celebration, LKG and UKG students dressed up as characters from the Ramayana. Students of primary classes watched videos of Ramayana stories and displayed Ramayana stories on the notice board.Ramayana quiz, Ekashloki Ramayana dance performance, discussion on female characters in the Ramayana, Ramayana recitation competition, drawing competition,Speech competitions and character presentations by the students of classes I and II were conducted on the concluding day of the Ramayana month
