Republic Day, observed annually on January 26th, commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India, marking the birth of the Indian Republic. At Amrita Vidyalayam, Bhubaneswar, the celebration was a vibrant and patriotic event filled with enthusiasm and pride.
The program commenced with the flag-hoisting ceremony led by the esteemed principal, Ms. Mousumi Patnaik, followed by a heartfelt rendition of the national anthem by the school choir. In her address, the principal highlighted the significance of the Constitution and reminded everyone of their duties as responsible citizens.
Students from various classes delivered inspiring speeches and performed patriotic songs, captivating the audience. The cultural program featured traditional dances, skits depicting historical milestones, and a captivating performance by the school band.
The event witnessed active participation from students, teachers, and staff. Special guests, including local dignitaries and alumni, added grace to the occasion. The students' performances were commendable, and the speeches by the principal and guests left a lasting impression.
