Krishna Janmashtami is a joyful festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, who is believed to be the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Krishna was born on the eighth day (Ashtami) of Krishna Paksha during the Rohini Nakshatra. Krishna Janmashtami is a celebration of life, love, and devotion.

We celebrated Sreekrishna Janmashtami on 23rd August 2024 .The program started with  Amma’s Dhyana Sloka and the students of classes I,II and KG came traditionally dressed as Radha and Krishna. Students presented fascinating group dances and program concluded with house wise Uriyadi(pot breaking) competitions. A splendidly colourful program was enjoyed with happiness. Anandamayi House was the winner of Uriyadi competition.
