Vande Acharya Parampara – A Tribute in Gratitude
Honouring those Who Nurture with Heart and Humility
As part of a beautiful new initiative initiated at Amrita Vidyalayam, Bengaluru, the school held a heartwarming celebration on June 21, 2025 under the theme Vande Acharya Parampara – A Tribute in Gratitude, to honour the birthdays of staff members born in the months of April and May.
The celebration began with the warm introduction of each birthday staff member, who was welcomed with petal showers and escorted to a specially designated area. The atmosphere was filled with devotion as the Dhyana Shloka was chanted and the Janma Dinam Gitam was played. This was followed by the Ashtottara Archana, led with grace by Brahmacharini Ārādhanāmṛta Chaitanya Amma, invoking Satguru Amma’s divine grace.
The Tilak and Aarti ceremony deepened the spiritual essence of the gathering. Many staff members were emotionally stirred, expressing heartfelt joy and gratitude for the love and honour shown. A newly joined birthday staff member was especially moved by the surprise gesture.
The event concluded with the distribution of Amma’s prasāda and refreshments sponsored by the birthday staff, leaving everyone with full hearts and a sense of divine belonging.
