The World Environment Day 2024 celebration was marked by an inspiring and informative event. The function was inaugurated by the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. P.S. Easa, Chairman of the Aranyakam Nature Foundation and Former Director of the Kerala Forest Research Institute.
Dr. Easa shared extensive insights and experiences on ecosystems and biodiversity, emphasizing the intricate interdependencies within natural habitats and the crucial role each species plays in maintaining ecological balance. He also distributed saplings to our students. Dived Krishna, a student from Class XII, delivered the pledge.
Students from Class VIII presented a skit highlighting the importance of protecting our environment. Dr. Easa also inaugurated the medicinal plants exhibition and planted a sapling at our school. Additionally, a pencil drawing competition was conducted.
Students from classes I and II showcased a delightful dance performance. The event was a grand success, leaving a lasting impression on all participants.
