Amrita Vidyalayam, Thuckalay celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21, 2025, with great enthusiasm and participation. The event began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a serene prayer and a warm welcome address. 

Students took part in a mass yoga demonstration and a vibrant yoga performance, highlighting the benefits of yoga for physical and mental well-being. A harmonious group song further uplifted the spirit of the gathering. 

Dr. V. R. Theiva Prakash, the chief guest, delivered an inspiring address on the relevance of yoga in today’s lifestyle. A felicitation ceremony was held to honour the chief . 

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the chanting of the Shanti Mantra, promoting peace and harmony.
