The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with pride and reverence at Amrita Vidyalayam, Bhubaneswar. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolour flag by our Principal Mrs. Mousumi Patnaik, accompanied by Mr Sujit Das, PET. The flag hoisting was followed by the national anthem to pay tribute to the motherland.

The  celebration started with a march-past by students of the 4 houses, followed by the scout and guide contingent. The school principal then addressed the students. She dedicated the celebration to Amma’s teachings of Love and Compassion, our duties towards our parents and the motherland.

The cultural celebrations comprised of group song by our choir group and students of classes IV and V. Prize distribution was held for winners of sports championships. The event ended with distribution of prasad to all staff, students, and teachers.
