The World Environment Day 2024 celebration was marked by an inspiring and informative event. The function was inaugurated by the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. P.S. Easa, Chairman of the Aranyakam Nature Foundation and Former Director of the Kerala Forest Research Institute. Dr. Easa shared extensive insights and experiences on ecosystems and biodiversity, emphasizing the intricate interdependencies within natural habitats and the crucial role each species plays in maintaining ecological balance. He also distributed saplings to our students.
World Food Day: 6th Graders Shine with Nutritious Culinary Creations
World Food Day was observed globally on October 16th, emphasizing the theme, ‘Right to Food for a Better Life.’ Our school commemorated this significant day with an engaging activity to raise awareness about healthy and nutritious food.
The 6th standard students enthusiastically participated, bringing traditional, healthy, and nutritious dishes. Under the guidance of Mrs. Remya Sandeep from the Science Department, the students displayed their culinary creations in the biology lab.
Abhinandanam: Honoring Kargil War Veterans
On the eve of the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Amrita Vidyalayam Mangaluru proudly organized ‘Abhinandanam’ – a heartfelt felicitation program to honor the heroes of the Kargil War. The event paid tribute to three esteemed veterans: Subedar Appu Shetty, PO Sudheer Pai, and Naik Leeladhar, whose bravery and sacrifices during the Kargil War continue to inspire the nation.
