Being the first citizen of India ,the best human being who showcased simplicity throughout his life,the role model of all, the soul with dogged determination who rose up from humble beginning, The great scientist who inspired the Science enthusiasts was reminisced by our senior students by organizing quiz and other activities to develop scientific temper in them. They watched the videos of Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and were deeply inspired by his contributions and life. World Students' Day was observed on 17th October 2024 in commemoration of the great scientist

Children brought various dishes made of leafy vegetables. Teachers and students had lunch together with varied dishes made of different vegetables. Students also understood the importance of vegetables and nutrients for our health.

Reading Day was observed on June 19 to promote reading habits. Mrs. Neethi delivered a speech on the importance of reading, followed by an enactment of the play 'Elves and the Shoemaker'. In connection with the observance of Reading Day, a book fair was held at school to ignite passion for reading in children. In an era dominated by screens and digital entertainment, this event aimed to redirect their enthusiasm towards the joy of reading. The fair was a huge success, with children eagerly purchasing books to start or expand their personal libraries at home.

In connection with World Environment Day, our 8th graders conducted an interview with a farmer/ Environmentalist, Mr. Krishnan Koodathil. The students cleared their queries regarding the harmful effects of using chemicals in farming, application of pesticides and the threat of natural disasters due to human interference. The resource person insisted the need to respect nature and the significance of living in harmony with nature.
