National Science Day was observed at Amrita Vidyalayam Manjeri on February 28, 2025. 7th graders actively participated in a panel discussion on the topic, "Climate Change - Is there something to worry about?" Dr. V. Narayanan, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), visited the Ashram on Friday and took time to interact with students from Amrita Vidyalayam, Puthiyakavu. 

The students had the unique opportunity to meet and engage with one of India’s leading space scientists. Dr. Narayanan shared insights into India's space missions, the future of space exploration, and encouraged the young minds to pursue science with curiosity and dedication.

CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Active Learning was held in our school on July 27th, 2024. The training programme conducted by the Resource persons Ms. P Saboora Begum, Principal T K M Centenary Public  School, Karicode and Ms Dr. Rekha R S,  Principal, Chinmaya Vidyalaya Sanathanapuram, Alleppey. 61 participants attended the training program. The training program successfully concluded with an assessment questionnaire.

Class observation records and measures a teacher's teaching ability by systematically observing and recording their class performance. July 22 is Pi Approximation Day. Also known as Casual Pi Day, the day is dedicated to the mathematical constant pi (Ï€). Pi denotes the relationship between a circle's circumferences, its diameter and is denoted by the fraction 22/7 which calculates approximately to 3.14. As part of Pi Approximation Day, mathematics department conducted a speech, song, quiz, and familiarize some famous mathematicians and explained about their contributions.

Singing can also positively affect brain development and neural processing.
