On Independence Day, various activities were conducted, including drill, patriotic songs, drawing national symbols (KG to Class II), flag hoisting, aerobic dance (Class I and II girls), speeches (Class I and IV), pyramid formation (Class VII to X boys), quizzes, and poster-making.

We know the Malayalam month of ‘Karkkidakam’ as the Ramayana month. During this month Ramayana chanting in the morning assembly was highlighted. Our little kids joyfully participated in fancy dress competition beautifully portraying their favourite Ramayana characters

Children from Pre- KG to UKG wore black and white dresses and conducted the morning assembly with a Black and White theme.Various activities, including drawing and colouring pandas,zebras and penguins.

Christmas celebrations were held with great enthusiasm, marked by a cake-cutting ceremony from Pre-KG to Class X. Students from Pre-KG to Class II wore red attire and rejoiced in the festive spirit.

Amrita Vidyalayam recently celebrated International Moon Day on 18th July 2024, in commemoration of the remarkable achievement of the Apollo 11 Lunar Mission, which saw humans land on the Moon on 20th July 1969.

The celebration included a captivating Planetarium Show, offering students an incredible opportunity to explore celestial objects, galaxies, and the vast universe. The show also featured fascinating insights into extinct giants that once roamed Earth, the stages of human evolution, and the technological advancements in rocket launching.

Amrita Vidyalayam Manjeri hosted an Award Ceremony to honor the students who achieved top scores in the 10th Board exams. The event was filled with pride and gratitude as these high achievers were felicitated for their dedication and hard work.

Their remarkable success serves as an inspiration to their juniors, motivating them to aim for excellence in their academic pursuits. It was a moment to celebrate the achievements and set the stage for future accomplishments. 

The Amrita Kudumbam gathered with parents after attending the Aksharasloka-Kavyakeli Sadass at the Iringole Kavu Temple, Perumbavoor. The event was a celebration of cultural traditions and values, fostering a deeper connection between the community and its rich heritage.

It was a beautiful moment of unity and spirituality, with families coming together to participate in the cultural activities and reflect on the significance of the event.

Aarav K.V. secures remarkable achievement in winning the Ernakulam District Archery Championship in the Under 10 Boys category. His dedication and focus in the sport have truly paid off with this fantastic victory.
