Our students showcased their exceptional talent at the Trivandrum Sahodhaya CBSE Interschool Youth Festival, Layam 2024, emerging victorious in multiple categories. Aashvi (III A) secured 3rd place in folk dance, while Parvathy Prakash bagged 2nd place in the same category. In Bharatanatyam, Ananya Vinod clinched the 1st prize. Sooryagayathri S. secured the II position and Apsaralekshmi earned the 3rd place. In the Recitation competition, Anugraha Udayan triumphed with 1st place in Hindi. Sakthiprasad secured 2nd place. Chinmayi securwd 3rd in English recitation.

Onam celebrations at our school were filled with vibrant colours and joyous moments as students arrived in their traditional Onakodi, radiating festive cheer. The day was marked with Onapaatu and enthralling dance performances, alongside the symbolic appearance of Mahabali and Vamanan, capturing the spirit of the festival. The highlight was the Onasadya, where students shared a delicious feast with their classmates and teachers, each contributing a curry to the meal.

On Teachers' Day, Amrita Vidyalayam Puthiyakavu witnessed a heartwarming display of respect and devotion. While Class IX students managed the classes, the Class X students, who will be appearing for their 2025 Board exams, performed a touching aarati ceremony for their teachers. This beautiful gesture of love and heartfelt gratitude honoured the teachers for their sincere dedication in imparting knowledge and nurturing the students' growth. As a token of respect, the students gifted pens to the teachers, who in return blessed them wholeheartedly, symbolising the timeless guru-shishya bond.

The Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony was a beautiful celebration of tiny dreams taking flight. With Dr. Manju Rajasekharan, Principal of Vivekananda Central School, gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest, the event was filled with moments of joy, innocence, and pride.

Heartiest congratulations to the brilliant Team Mission—Krishnendu S. Pillai, Malavika M., and Alona Binoj—whose innovative ideas have brought laurels to the school. This recognition sets an inspiring example for young minds to dream big and achieve greater heights.

The Kids Sports Fest at Amrita Vidyalayam was a delightful celebration of energy and enthusiasm, showcasing the talents of our youngest learners from KG, Class I, and II. The event began with a charming march-past, where the little ones, dressed adorably in black and white, stole hearts despite their playful imperfections. A series of fun-filled sports and games kept the excitement alive, with every child giving their best. The winners are declared and prizes distributed. Annual Kids sports days left the tiny champions with unforgettable memories of joy and achievement.

On 28th March 2025, Amrita Vidyalayam, Harippad bid a heartfelt farewell to two of its esteemed teachers, Mini Ma’am from the Social Science Department and Prema C. Ma’am from the Music Department, as they gracefully stepped into their retirement. 

The farewell ceremony was filled with mixed emotions—gratitude for their invaluable contributions and sadness at bidding them goodbye. Both teachers shared their experiences at the school, reminiscing about their journey and expressing their love for the students and colleagues they have nurtured and inspired over the years. 

On 2nd April 2025 enlightening session by Ashish Pillay focused on active decision-making and time management, essential skills for personal and academic success for students of Std X . He emphasized that conquering the fear of failure is key to making better decisions. Mistakes are a part of learning, and we should reframe our beliefs to see them as opportunities rather than setbacks. Through inspiring examples like Thomas Edison’s perseverance, we learned that determination and resilience help us overcome challenges.

Our school conducted a Ramayana Quiz Competition on August 16, 2024, for students from Std. II to VII. The competition was filled with enthusiasm as students showcased their knowledge of the Ramayana. Students who excelled in the 1st level (class round) were selected for the final round held in December between two groups. . Among the participants, the II , IV and VII groups performed exceptionally well and secured the first prize. It was a proud moment for the winners as our respected Principal Madam presented the trophy to them during the school assembly.

As they step into a new chapter of their lives-they seek blessings of all.Love is the greatest gift one generation can leave another -kinter garten covocation and grand parents day  was celebrated on 28th March 2025.Dr.Vijayakumar S ,Assistant professor and Research guide,NSS College Pandalam presided over the function .Honouring the kinder Garten students was conducted.The programme was made lively withSpeeches by students, Dance and music by students and staff of our school.Entertainment programmes and games were held for grandparents.
