Sports Day 2024
Amrita Vidyalayam, Kozhikode, celebrated Sports Day on October 19, 2024, at the school playground. The event featured a variety of exciting athletic competitions, encouraging students to showcase their physical skills and teamwork. It was a day filled with energy, sportsmanship, and memorable moments for all participants.
Kerala Piravi Celebration 2024
Amrita Vidyalayam, Kozhikode, celebrated Kerala Piravi with enthusiasm and reverence, honouring the vibrant cultural heritage and traditions of Kerala. The event was marked by dynamic student performances that brought the essence of Kerala to life.

Black and White Day 2024
Amrita Vidyalayam, Kozhikode, KG Section, celebrated Black & White Day on November 11th, as part of the curriculum. Teachers and students embraced the theme by dressing in black and white and bringing related props. The children were introduced to the symbolic meaning of these contrasting colours—white representing peace and black symbolizing authority, often associated with concepts like day and night or good and evil. They explored various aspects of black and white through engaging activities. A sensory video in black and white was shown to enhance their understanding.
Childrens Day & Grandparents Day 2024
Amrita Vidyalayam, Kozhikode, joyfully celebrated Children’s Day and Grandparents’ Day on a delightful morning in the school courtyard from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM on 14th November 2024, creating heartwarming memories for students, teachers, and grandparents alike.
The day began with a special assembly conducted by the teachers, setting the tone for a fun-filled day. The cultural programs that followed showcased the talented teachers’ singing and dancing, leaving the audience in awe.
Constitution Day 2024
Constitution Day is celebrated annually on 26th November to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India by the Constituent Assembly on 26th November 1949. It officially came into effect on 26th January 1950. Amrita Vidyalayam, Kozhikode, observed National Constitution Day with an engaging mock Parliament session. Students took on various roles such as Prime Minister, Speaker, and ministers, and conducted a lively discussion on the Juvenile Justice Bill.
World Computer Literacy Day 2024
World Computer Literacy Day is celebrated every year on December 2, with its first observance held in 2001. The day aims to promote technological skills, particularly among children and women.
Amrita Vidyalayam, Kozhikode, observed World Computer Literacy Day with a series of engaging and informative activities. Students delivered speeches, presented PowerPoint slides, showcased a captivating video on the impact of technology in daily life, and performed a creative act using cutouts of computer parts.
Bhagavad Gita Jayanthi 2024
Amrita Vidyalayam, Kozhikode, celebrated Bhagavad Gita Jayanthi with great enthusiasm and devotion. The program began with Bhagavad Gita dhyanam chanted by students, setting a serene and spiritual tone. The Principal and teachers shared insightful messages, emphasizing the timeless relevance of the Bhagavad Gita in modern life.
Roleplay Extravaganza
Students from Amrita Vidyalayam Kozhikode embraced the stage with excitement and enthusiasm as part of the Accelerated Learning Program’s (ALP) engaging roleplay performances. Designed to build confidence, reduce stage fear, and enhance teamwork, these activities were a brilliant platform for students to express their creativity while improving their communication skills. The joy on their faces and their powerful performances were truly inspiring!
Art Exhibition - KALAMITRAM 2024
On December 18, 2024, Amrita Vidyalayam proudly hosted Kalamritam, an art exhibition that celebrated the remarkable artistic talents of our students. The event was held in the KG Play Area, and featured a vibrant display of diverse creations, including colorful paintings, intricate drawings, creative crafts, sand art, origami, decorative pieces, bottle art, innovative sculptures, and clay models. Each piece reflected the boundless imagination, dedication, and skill of our young artists.
