A mock election was conducted for the positions of Head Boy, Head Girl, Assistant Head Boy, and Assistant Head Girl, giving students a hands-on experience in democratic practices. The event encouraged leadership, responsibility, and active participation, fostering the spirit of student governance in a fun and meaningful way.

Our School organized Children’s Chess Carnival at the school Amriteswaryai Hall on Thursday, January 30, 2025. The inaugural ceremony began with a prayer song invoking Amma’s blessings for the success of the tournament. The Chief referee of the event, Smt. Revathi Secretary, Vinayaka Chess Academy, Karur presented the rules and guidelines of the tournament, kick-starting the matches.

A Fire Safety Awareness Programme on 04.07.2024 was conducted by the Fire and Rescue ServicesDepartment, Thanjavur, to educate students on emergency response and safety measures.The interactive session empowered young minds with practical knowledge on fireprevention, evacuation drills, and the importance of staying alert.

Reliance Digital organized an engaging one-day AI orientation for our Grade IX students, sparking curiosity and creativity in the world of Artificial Intelligence." The session opened young minds to the future of technology, blending learning with hands-on discovery in a fun, interactive way."

On June 21, 2024, we celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students of Grades 3 to 7. The event began with a brief introduction to the importance of yoga in daily life, followed by a guided session where students and teachers performed various yoga asanas together. The atmosphere was vibrant and focused, as everyone came together to embrace the spirit of health, mindfulness, and inner well-being.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Karur celebrated Pongal on 10th January 2025. Pongal is believed traditionally to mark the arrival of spring in India.  As it is the festival of Sun God and he is regarded as the symbol of divinity and wisdom, the festival also holds an eternal meaning to it.

   The Annual General Exhibition is a showcase of creativity, innovation, and knowledge, highlighting students’ academic and artistic achievements. It features diverse displays, including science experiments, Art & craftworks, innovative projects, and cultural exhibits, reflecting the multidisciplinary learning approach of the institution. The exhibition provides a platform for students to present their skills, share ideas and engage with visitors, fostering confidence and collaboration.

On June 15, 2024, our school welcomed the CBSE inspection team for the purpose of securing Senior Secondary Affiliation. The visit was a significant milestone in our academic journey, as the inspectors reviewed our infrastructure, academic standards, faculty qualifications, and overall preparedness to offer education at the senior secondary level. The day was marked by constructive interactions, detailed evaluations, and a shared commitment to excellence in education.

The Sports Day at Amrita Vidyalayam, Karur was a grand celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and school spirit, held on 4th of January 2025, a vibrant morning that brought together students, teachers, and parents for an unforgettable event. The entire school came alive with energy, as participants from all grades showcased their physical progress in a wide array of sports and games.
