The Investiture Ceremony entrusts roles and responsibilities to students, making them key figures in the school community. These elected student leaders serve as role models, ambassadors, and change-makers. Our vision is to nurture our children into nation builders who will make a positive impact on the world.

 

Guru Poornima 2024

On July 21, 2024, Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated Guru Purnima with heartfelt gratitude and joy. The event honoured the profound contributions of the Guru in guiding and shaping our lives, serving as a beautiful reminder of their invaluable role.

Trip To Manali

Amrita Vidyalayam organized an Excursion to Manali from October 13th to 20th, 2024. Known for its captivating natural beauty, Manali offered students a truly mesmerizing experience amidst stunning landscapes.

 

National Unity Day 2024

National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ektha Diwas is celebrated every year on 31st October to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai  Patel, fondly known as the Iron Man Of India. A special assembly was organised to explain the Importance of National Unity day.

World Peace Day

World Peace Day was celebrated on 21st of September. A painting competition was held with ‘ World Peace’ as the theme.  Children lighted earthen lamps on the word “PEACE” in a beautifully arranged flower pattern, symbolising the dispelling of darkness.  Amma’s ‘Ashtotara’ was chanted followed by the chanting of the manatra ‘Lokaha Samastha’ 18times.  A two minute silent prayer was observed for world peace.

 

Visit to an Orphanage – A unique observance of Amma’s 58th Birthday

To commemorate our Beloved Amma’s 58th Birthday, students of Amrita Vidyalayam, Belgaum took the initiative to sponsor meals for the children in the orphanage run by Vivekananda Seva Pratishthan. Apart from meals, notebooks, stationery items, soaps and towels were distributed to more than 60 students living in the orphanage. Games were arranged for the children and on its culmination, snacks and sweets were distributed.

An Inimitable Way To Celebrate Children’s Day

In the wake of the depletion of vegetation cover of our planet and realizing the responsibility towards conserving Mother Nature, the students of Amrita Vidyalayam, Belgaum joined together for an initiative to plant 54 saplings in and around the school premises on the occasion of Children’s Day.

To make it more distinctive, the teachers presented a cultural event wherein they dressed themselves as representatives of different states of India and said a few words in the regional language of that particular state. It was the teachers’ way of expressing their love for the tiny tots.

Krishna Janmashtami Celebration 2019

Our school celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with traditional fervour on August 23rd, 2019. All the students participated in it. There was pot decoration competition and Dahi Handi breaking ceremony at the school. There was also blind Dahi Handi to add colours to the celebration. The chief attraction of the celebration was Radha Krishna Dress competition. Boys and girls appeared in the attire of Lord Krishna and Radha. It was a lovely experience for all of us to watch them.
