Amritotsav 2k25 was exactly the biggest celebration in our school that we have ever imagined and worked upon. Students were too energetic and active even during the practice and all duties. The presence of famous and honorable celebrities made the event more superb. Dances, Songs, Drama, Skits and all those added to the beauty.

Sports day is an important day which helps every student to indulge in physical activities and sports. Amrita Annual Sports meet was held at EMS Stadium, Kodumon on 7th September 2024. Our School celebrated Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm. Students of classes VI to XII participated in various events such as 4 x 100 m relay, 4 x 400 m relay, long jump, triple jump, shot-put, discus throw and 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m & 1500 m running races. All the students thoroughly enjoyed the day and participated in the items with a lot of happiness.

It’s the day to focus on the scientific skills and techniques through scientific projects, models and experiments. Demonstrating their creativity and scientific temperament will always result in getting a better fortune for them. The students of our school were well able to make the day even more fruitful in many ways. The exhibition was held department wise and the winners were awarded with trophies and certificates.

As a part of World Mosquito Day, a special awareness speech was delivered by our respected vice principal Smt. Sumangala Haridas during the school assembly on 21 August 2024. The speaker highlighted the importance of understanding how mosquitoes spread diseases like malaria, dengue, and zika and explained various preventive measures such as using mosquito nets, wearing long-sleeved clothing, and eliminating stagnant water where mosquitoes breed. The speech emphasized the role everyone can play in controlling mosquito populations and protecting their health.

Onam commemorates the legacy of a golden era of equality, unity and prosperity. The day teaches us of unity, truthfulness, integrity and compassion. In memory of those beautiful days, we celebrated Onam with flower carpet making, uriyadi, tug of war, dance presentation, musical chairs, etc.

Malayalam New Year, also known as Kollavarsham, marks the beginning of the New Year in the Malayalam calendar. Chingam 1 symbolizes new beginnings with onset of the harvest season, a period of abundance and prosperity for farmers. We celebrated Chingam 1 as Karshikamela, a special speech was conducted in the morning assembly on August 17th. Students of class VI exhibited various types of agricultural products. It was an innovative experience for the children.

Our school celebrated the day with a presentation in the assembly, inculcating a message through a speech. The presentation was moved through the assembly as a like rally

The sacred Ramayana Month, observed to honor the timeless epic Ramayana and its profound teachings, was celebrated in our school with devotion, creativity, and deep cultural reverence.

Throughout the month, students engaged in daily reading and reflections on the Ramayana, exploring the life of Lord Rama and the values of truth, duty, courage, and compassion. Special assemblies were held where students recited verses (shlokas), narrated key incidents, and shared moral lessons drawn from the epic.

Ramayana Day, A day to celebrate the victory of the greatest warriors, who taught us the virtues of a realistic and idealistic human being who followed the system of humanity, respect and justice in a humble way. Our celebration had moved in a simple and elegant way. Starting with prayer, we moved on to Ramayana Chanting and thereby to fancy dress competition. The students of LKG to II standard participated. The competition was held category wise, where a single class is considered as a category.
