The birth of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami, was celebrated with great joy and devotion in our school, transforming the campus into a vibrant scene of colors, culture, and spirituality.

The festivities began with a special assembly where students shared the story of Lord Krishna’s birth and his teachings through skits, narrations, and bhajans. Dressed as little Krishnas and Radhas, our young learners brought the divine characters to life with charm and innocence.

Teacher’s Day was celebrated in our school with heartfelt gratitude, love, and joyous enthusiasm to honor the incredible mentors who shape young minds and guide us through life’s journey.

The program began with a beautiful tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday marks this special day. Students took the lead in organizing the entire event — from anchoring and cultural performances to heartfelt speeches and skits that reflected the profound impact teachers have on their lives.

The spirit of Kerala’s most beloved festival, Onam, came alive in our school on 13th September 2024 with a colorful and joyous celebration that brought together tradition, unity, and festivity!

The event began with the graceful Pookalam (floral rangoli) competition, where students beautifully arranged flowers into intricate patterns, filling the atmosphere with fragrance and vibrant colors. Dressed in traditional attire, students and teachers alike embraced the cultural essence of the day.

Arif Ambadan of AV Perumbavoor Achieves Recognition in PSK's Dream Theme Olympiad
We are thrilled to announce that Arif Ambadan from AV Perumbavoor has achieved outstanding recognition in the PSK's Dream Theme Olympiad scholarship exams. Arif's remarkable performance has earned him a cash award of Rs. 25,000 and a unique opportunity to visit the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Amrita Vidyalayam, Kanhangad, celebrated the UKG Convocation Ceremony on March 25, 2025, marking a significant milestone for our young graduates. The event began with the sacred lamp lighting and prayer led by Br Vedavedyamrita Chaitanya followed by a welcome speech.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Mr. Sreekumar, Head of the Agriculture Department, Padannakkadi, who added dignity to the occasion. Swamiji's inspiring address motivated everyone, while speeches by Devanshi and Diya Lekshmi brought a special charm. 

Gita Jayanti, the sacred day marking the birth of the Bhagavad Gita, was celebrated in our school with devotion, reflection, and spiritual enthusiasm. The event aimed to introduce students to the timeless wisdom of the Gita and inspire values like righteousness, courage, and inner peace.

The celebrations began with the chanting of shlokas by students, filling the atmosphere with a serene and spiritual vibe. Teachers and students together reflected on key teachings from the Gita, emphasizing the importance of karma (action), dharma (duty), and maintaining balance in life.

Amrita Vidyalayam Manjeri observed Umbrella Day with a beautiful demonstration of unity and diversity. The students, representing different backgrounds, came together and shared a single umbrella during the rain. 

This simple yet powerful act symbolized universal brotherhood and religious harmony, emphasizing the importance of togetherness and compassion. It was a heartwarming reminder of how unity can overcome challenges and bring people together.

The 15th of August was celebrated in our school with great pride, enthusiasm, and patriotic fervor, as students and staff came together to honor India’s 78th Independence Day.

The celebration began with the ceremonial flag hoisting by our Chief Guest Retired Subedar Major A S Venugopalan Pillai Sir, followed by the national anthem, which echoed through the school grounds, filling every heart with emotion and pride. Students participated in a vibrant march-past, showcasing discipline and unity.

Amrita Vidyalayam Pulppally commenced its new academic year for classes I to XII. The teachers welcomed the students with great joy, and the Principal led the Asthotharaarchana ceremony. The day started with blessings and the distribution of prasadam, marking a hopeful and prosperous beginning for the new academic journey. 

Amrita Vidyalayam Manjeri organized a Mock Parliament in observance of Constitution Day. Students from grades 8 and 9 role-played as parliamentarians and discussed various state-related issues, gaining valuable insights into parliamentary procedures and the democratic system. This activity enhanced their critical thinking, public speaking skills, and teamwork, helping them appreciate the democratic process.
