Shrikanth C. Menon and Shrinath C. Menon of Class XI-A brought glory to Amrita Vidyalayam with their stellar performance at the Ernakulam District Tennis Championship held on 24th November 2024 at the Regional Sports Centre, Kochi. Shrikanth emerged as the Men’s Champion, clinched the Under-18 Championship, and secured the Men’s Doubles Runner-up position. Shrinath impressed with his achievements as the Under-16 and Under-18 Runner-up while also winning the Men’s Doubles title. Their remarkable success stands as a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and passion for tennis.

School celebrated Christmas on 21st December 2024 with great enthusiasm.

The festivities began with a heartfelt prayer, followed by a delightful sequence of events including soulful carols, an engaging skit, and a graceful angel dance performance. The children joyfully decorated the Christmas tree in the Saraswathi Mandap, adding to the festive spirit. Gift exchanges among the students spread happiness and warmth, making the celebration truly memorable.

The Annual Day celebration at Amrita Vidyalayam, Thalassery, was a grand occasion, graced by the esteemed Sampoojya Swami Amritakripananda Puri (In-charge, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Kannur) as the Chief Guest. We were also honoured to welcome Sri. Ayyappan R. (General Manager & Principal, NTTF Thalassery) as a distinguished guest, and Thejus Ajith S., our alumnus and music composer, as the Guest of Honour.

The School Exhibition held on 23rd November was a resounding success, showcasing the creativity and talent of students across various classes. The exhibits included impressive still models, working models, crafts, and projects spanning subjects such as Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Languages.

A special highlight was the Planetarium Show, which captivated the audience with its immersive experience.

Parents commended the tremendous efforts of all the students, making the event a memorable celebration of learning and creativity.
