We celebrated International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2024. Dr. Gopinatha Kurup, Retired Principal, Arts, Science and Commerce College Amaravathi, Maharashtra, inaugurated the function. Yoga display was conducted by all classes from Class I to XII in separate sessions.

The 78th Independence Day celebration at Amrita Vidyalayam Puthiyakavu was graced by the presence of Shri. Shameer, Sub Inspector of Karunagappally, as the Chief Guest. Despite his busy schedule, he took time to address the students on the pressing issues of drug addiction and the legal protections available to safeguard their rights. Shri. Shameer hoisted the national flag with pride and received the salute during the March Past by the four houses—Amritamayi, Anandamayi, Chinmayi, and Jyothirmayi. Amrita Vidyalayam Ottapalam celebrated World Blood Donor Day on Friday, June 14th. The school hosted informative sessions to highlight the significance of blood donation, with enthusiastic participation from the students. Athmaja, a grade 3 student, recited a beautiful Malayalam poem on blood donation, while Lakshmi, also from grade 3, narrated a moral story emphasizing its importance. Lakshmi Raghunath of grade 8 delivered a powerful speech on the day’s significance.
