The Sanskrit Bharati Paschim Maharashtra Pranth had organized a Sanskrit exam for students of Classes VI to IX. Our school proudly participated in this exam, and a total of 19 students appeared for the first-level test. Among them, 13 students performed exceptionally well and received distinction, 6 students were awarded first class, showcasing their strong grasp of the Sanskrit language. 

Our school joyfully celebrated Ram Navami with great enthusiasm and devotion. The program began with our Principal Madam lighting the ceremonial lamp, marking the auspicious start. A beautiful and soulful Ram Bhajan was sung by our talented music teachers, Gopalakrishnan Sir and Nilesh Sir, filling the atmosphere with devotion. All the students participated wholeheartedly and offered their prayers to Lord Rama with deep faith and reverence, making the celebration truly memorable. 

In an event marked by immense pride and inspiration, Amrita Vidyalayam Puthiyakavu honoured the remarkable achievements of its brightest innovators. ‘Team Master Brain’, comprising Akash S, Nivedh R Praveen, and Vinayak B, received accolades for their groundbreaking Ampoule Opener device, which has the potential to revolutionise healthcare.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Puthiyakavu, takes immense pride in celebrating the remarkable achievements of our young judokas! Ayush Abin clinched the bronze medal in the +66 kg category, while Parthasarathy G S secured the bronze medal in the -66 kg category at the 43rd State Sub-Junior Judo Championship. Their exceptional dedication and fighting spirit have brought glory to our school. Congratulations to these budding champions for their inspiring performances!

We are thrilled to announce that our students R Prabhajan and Sivaprasad S achieved 39th and 98th position,who have emerged victorious in this year’s Tinkerpreneur 2024.

With 7,300+ entries from brilliant young minds across the country, our participants showcased creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial spirit throughout this transformative journey. Over 45 days, they dove deep into a rigorous boot camp featuring 40+ power-packed sessions for 17,000 hours, guided by passionate mentors.

Amrita Vidyalayam’s athletes shone brightly at the District Level Sahodaya Sports Championship, bringing home a stunning tally of 22 medals. In a spectacular display of talent, Pavan bagged Gold in both the 100 m and 200 m races and Silver in the long jump, while E.R. Adwaith claimed Gold in the long jump, Silver in the 100 m and 200 m races. The shot put event saw Anaswara securing Gold, followed by Soorya Gayathri and Vinayak Krishna with Bronze. Anaswara also struck Gold in discus throw, with Ayush Abin taking Bronze.

We are filled with immense pride and joy as our esteemed Principal, Swamini Sreecharanamrita Prana, has been honoured with the prestigious Best Administrative & Innovative Principal's Award at the FAP National Awards 2024. This esteemed recognition is a testament to her visionary leadership, dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence in education. Heartiest congratulations to our beloved Principal for this well-deserved achievement.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Puthiyakavu, celebrated its annual Sports Day for the academic year 2024-25 with great enthusiasm and vigour on October 24 and 25. The event kicked off with a vibrant inaugural ceremony featuring the hoisting of the sports flag, followed by a spectacular march past of the four houses - Amritamayi, Anandamayi, Chinmayi, and Jyothirmayi. The Sports Torch was respectfully Flame of True Spirit was ignited, symbolising the passion and dedication of all participants. House captains led the oath-taking ceremony, reaffirming their commitment to sportsmanship.

On 7th February 2025, the sacred presence of Sampoojya Swamiji Poornamritananda Puri graced the inauguration of the School Primary Park, making it a truly divine occasion. Coinciding with the grand celebrations of Amritakalasandhya 2025, this special moment brought joy and excitement to the little ones. Designed for their enjoyment and physical well-being, the park stands as a beautiful space where laughter and learning bloom together.

The 28th Annual Day of Amrita Vidyalayam Puthiyakavu was held on Friday, 7 February 2024, in a grand and unforgettable celebration of talent, colour, and vibrancy.
