Our little stars have graduated, leaving a trail of joy and laughter in their wake. On February 10, 2024, we celebrated the tiniest triumphs and the beginning of grand adventures on Amrita Kindergarten’s Graduation Day!

Amrita Vidyalayam conducted Ganesha idol making activity in the school campus.

Our students participated in Bharat Scouts and Guides 31st District Camporee camp from December 12th to 15th, 2023. Fifty-four schools participated in the camporee, with around 1800 scouts and guides.

Our students won 1st prize in group folk dance competition, and 3rd prize in the pageant show. Master Omkar Panda of Std. VII stood first in the quiz competition. Our students also participated in the Group Yoga competition and Meena bazar show.

Students and teachers of classes VI and VII visited Regional Science Centre, Bhubaneswar on 22nd December, which was filled with fun and enjoyable activities. Their class teachers guided them through various galleries which showcased exhibits in Science, Mathematics, Physics and Solar System. Demonstrations of flow of charge, projectile motion, and mirror extravaganza were shown to the students. They also had a great time bonding with nature and enjoyed various fun activities. Later, the children were served lunch, and they returned to school full of happiness and gaiety.

Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated Christmas at our school in the grandest way which saw the participation of teachers, students, and parents. The entire assembly area was beautifully decorated with flowers, posters, and models. Students came to school wearing red clothes. The ceremony began with prayer. Various programs were organised one after the other. One of our teachers, Mr. Vishesh Limboo, recited a verse from the Bible, and students of Class 9 sang Christmas carols. Apart from this, our School Principal wished everyone a very happy Christmas, and gave a short motivational speech.

The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with pride and reverence at Amrita Vidyalayam, Bhubaneswar. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolour flag by our Principal Mrs. Mousumi Patnaik, accompanied by Mr Sujit Das, PET. The flag hoisting was followed by the national anthem to pay tribute to the motherland.

Pre planned work always gives satisfaction. Planning helps in preparation, smooth functioning thus leading to success. Pre planning can be done if one knows the course of action in advance. Isn’t it?
Keeping in view above mentioned statements Amrita Vidyalayam, Ahmedabad have been conducting Orientation for classes Pre-Primary to std. XII in the beginning of academic session, since last three years.

International Yoga Day was celebrated in our school on June 21, 2017. The program started with lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Dr. Neeta Panchal and Principal Brahmacharini Umaji. Speaking to the assembly, Dr. Neeta Panchal pointed out yoga’s role in maintaining fitness and good health, and how it helps students memorize lessons, and understand concepts and their context. She said that yoga is the scientific way of living healthy and increasing life expectancy. Later, students of different age groups performed various yogasanas under the guidance of their yoga teachers, Ms.

A field trip to Havmor was arranged as part of CCA for students. Havmor is a leading brand of Ice cream in the world. The person in charge of the unit gave a brief introduction of the company and its products, and explained the entire process to the students. Students gathered information about how different Ice creams are made, packed and dispatched.
